Apostolic DNA

The Holy Spirit is prodding Christ-followers today to develop into “apostolic people.”

I'm pretty convinced about this. What do I mean by apostolic Christ-followers? What is our true apostolic DNA via Christ.

Let's explore this together in a newsletter mini-series, shall we?

The cross life: Christo-centric faith

To start, apostolic DNA has everything to do with a CRISTO-CENTRIC faith experience and lifestyle.

It’s not man-centered. Or me-centered.

Christ is the foundation of the Higher Design in our lives. In everything we become. In everything we do.

And he’s the foundation of the Father’s work in our world.

If we want to live with brimming, abundant life, a life that is above and beyond … we must take up our cross and follow Christ.

A few thoughts ...

A few thoughts as we begin our mini-series ...

• Following Jesus is not about being me-centered. The cross of Christ working in our life on a daily basis releases us from the tyranny of sin and self and keeps our focus true.
• Jesus is the Ultimate Master Craftsman. And he invites us to build with him in our Father’s world.
• There is a Higher Design from above which is good, beautiful, and fruitful.
• Becoming apostolic means we enter uncharted spaces and places … releasing the influence of King Jesus.
• Becoming apostolic means we release the culture of heaven — the world of Jesus — into our spheres.

Part 2 - Apostolic Christ-following is missional. We push the agenda of God forward.

Part 3 - Real love powers our Kingdom experience.

There will be about 8 or 10 parts in the series.
