Go Further -- God's secret technology
If we want to live with brimming, abundant life, a life that is above and beyond (John 10:10) ... we must take up our cross and follow Christ. Our desire is to walk worthy of the calling of Christ (Ephesians 4:1, Philippians 3:13-14).
Jesus not only died for us he died as us. The Father has placed us "in Christ" (1 Corinthians 1:30). When Christ died, our old nature died with him (Romans 6:6, Galatians 2:20). Our new nature was raised to new life when Christ was resurrected (Romans 6:5, Romans 6:11). We ascended with Christ at his ascension and are now seated with him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6, Colossians 3:1-4).
It is through the deep working of the cross in our lives, that we really discover who we are, who we’re meant to be in the Storyline of Jesus. We can practically appropriate the work of the cross in our lives on a daily basis.
entering into the work of christ daily
There is so much more that the Cross has accomplished than our forgiveness, but the constant barrage of the Enemy’s lies wears us down over time, and we forget what is true. By entering into the work of Christ daily, we appropriate in a fresh way all he has already done for us. - John Eldredge

God's Secret Technology -- scripture for meditation, prayer, and proclamation
If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s shall save it. Jesus in Matthew 16:24-25 NKJV
We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. Romans 6:6 ESV
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20 NASB
Far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world (Galatians 6:14 ESV).
Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to desire and to work for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:12-13 NASB
