Exploiting kairos time

Kairos time (New Testament Greek) is qualitative time, not quantitative. It’s different than Chronos time — hours, days, weeks, years. Kairos is an opportune time within time. It’s an opportune season of time that must be redeemed (purchased) and made the most of.

Ask for Kairos time from Jesus. And ask that you will be aware of it and have the wisdom to make the most of it. Apply this to your life, family, community of faith, and nation.

Scripture

In You, LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; in Your righteousness rescue me. Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly; be a rock of strength for me… My times are in your hand… Make Your face shine upon Your servant. Psalm 31:1, 15-16 NASB

The people who know their God will be strong and take action. Daniel 11:32 NASB

The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Daniel 11:32 NKJV

So then, be careful how you walk, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of your time (kairos), because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is… be filled with the Spirit, Ephesians 5:15-18 NASB

Prayer – exploiting kairos time

Father, I praise and thank you for creating me and placing me in time. Give me a heightened sensitivity to your Kairos seasons you bring to me. Give me wisdom and ability to redeem and optimize these seasons. It’s all for your Story, your Glory. In Jesus name, I consecrate time to you. Amen.
